AROMATIC CANDLE PUMPKIN
Description:
This is how to make a very good smelling pumpkin candle.
Ingredients:
1 pumpkin
Cinnamon, nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice
1 short fat candle
Preparations:
Remove the "lid" from the pumpkin, then carve as you normally would. Sprinkle choice of spice all around the inside of the pumpkin and the inside of the "lid." Set candle inside the pumpkin. Replace "lid" on pumpkin. This creates a wonderful aroma when the candle is lit.

Kitchen Soap
Description:
This Recipe makes approximately 5 1/3 pounds of soap
Ingredients:
5.5 tablespoons of Ground Coffee
936 grams Tallow
936 grams Coconut Oil
624 grams Olive
368 grams Lye
928 grams Water
Fragrance to preference
Preparations:
Steep the coffee in your distilled water and strain through a coffee filter. Measure out 928 ml of water and use it in your recipe. Make soap using your usual method.
RECIPE FOR
Lip Balm
Description:
This is the best blend that I have tried but only use this one if you are making a big batch
Ingredients:
56 grams Beeswax 70 grams Virgin Coconut Oil
42 grams Cocoa Butter
56 grams clear Jojoba
56 grams Sulfated Castor Flavor to taste
Preparations:
Melt all ingredients and heat in the microwave. Add flavor and pour into lip balm tube or lip balm pot.
RECIPE FOR
LEMON LOOFAH SOAP
Ingredients:
4oz. unscented glycerin soap
5 pieces of loofah cut into very small pieces
20 drops lemon extract, fragrance or essential oil
1 drop yellow food coloring
Preparations:
In a small saucepan over low heat or microwave, melt glycerin soap until liquefied. Remove from heat and stir in loofah pieces, lemon oil, and food coloring. Stir until well blended. Pour soap into a mold and let set for three hours, or until hardened. NOTE: Olive Oil or Avocado glycerin base work best as the loofah stays distributed throughout the soap.
RECIPE FOR
PICKLE SOAP
Ingredients:
4 Ounces Unscented Glycerin Soap
1/2 Teaspoon Jojoba Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Dill Weed Essential Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Dried Dill
Preparations:
Melt Glycerin Soap in pan on stove or glass container in microwave. Stir gently until liquefied. Remove from heat and stir in fold color, oils and dill weed until well blended. Pour mixture into rectangular soap molds or use a box frame (plastic picture frame with the cardboard box insert). Allow the soap to set completely. Remove soap from molds and cut into pieces between 2 and 3 inches long (size and shape of pickle spears). Place soap pickles in canning jars and seal.
RECIPE FOR
ANTISEPTIC SOAP
Ingredients:
2 cups glycerin soap base
2 tablespoons tea tree essential oil
or 1 tablespoon lavender essential oil
Preparations:
Gently melt glycerin soap in sauce pan or microwave. Add the essential oil and blend well. Pour into molds. Allow to set completely. |
